Winterstone frame saw blades have once again proven their performance in natural stone cutting, delivering excellent results on white marble from the Marmara region of Turkey.
The cutting of these marble blocks, originating from the Marmara region of Turkey, was carried out in Greece using a gang saw equipped with 90 Winterstone diamond blades manufactured from 1.50 mm thick steel.

This reduced thickness offers a key advantage in marble processing: less material is lost with every cut. Compared with conventional blades of 2.00 to 3.50 mm, the 1.50 mm solution allows up to 90 blades to be installed in the same gang saw while significantly reducing the amount of marble consumed during cutting — resulting in several additional slabs from the same block.
The outstanding quality of the finished slabs confirms the performance of Winterstone’s diamond technology and its expertise in developing high-performance frame saw blades that optimise both cutting results and material efficiency.
